Leia Faith Cosmetics: Yay or Nay?
My honest opinion on Leia Faith Cosmetics.
If you're reading this, you probably follow me on Instagram. If you don't, well, you SHOULD (riizzyray)!!! Just kidding, no pressure...okay, maybe a little pressure, haha. Anyway, a few weeks ago, I received a message from Carlin Schiedow, who is the owner of Leia Faith Cosmetics. She came across my account and was impressed and inspired by my content and was wondering if it would be okay if she sent me a few of her products so I could try them out! Obviously, this is an amazing opportunity, so I said "of course!!!" Fast forward about two weeks later, I get a package in the mail. Inside was a tote bag, an eyeshadow palette, and a liquid lipstick. For this blog post, I am only going to review the eyeshadow palette and liquid lipstick. The tote bag is super cute tho!
5shadow Eyeshadow Palette
When I first opened the eyeshadow palette I was like "oooh yas girl." It was just what I needed - a neutral palette. Y'all know how I like bold looks, so a lot of my palettes are filled with bright shadows. And even when I'm shopping, I always tend to gravitate towards palettes that really...pop. Anyway, looking at the palette, the shadows all look really rich and pigmented. However, when I swatched them, they came out really light and mostly stayed on my finger. I had to really press down hard, multiple times, to really get the full effect. I'm wasn't sure if its because I have a light hand (cuz ya know, MD), but I was a little skeptical at this point. Then, I decided to try swatching them with a brush and it made a huuuuge difference. The payoff was way better and looked more pigmented. Still, I found myself having to really load up the brush with product to get the look I was going for, which I was able to do.

Matte Liquid Lipstick in Sweetheart
Girrrrrrrl, lemme tell you, this liquid lipstick is absolutely STUNNING. I really have no criticisms on this one. The color that I got was a light/pale-but-not-too-pale pink, and I loved it. Putting it on was a breeze. It was so smooth and velvety. The pigment is also amazinggggggg. I literally just swiped once and I was good. It lasted all night and I was even drinking. Plus, the applicator is a little longer than most liquid lipsticks, which is great for me since I have big lips. Definitely gonna be using this a lot.

Overall,
I am pleasantly surprised with how much I like these products, even considering that the eyeshadow palette is a little difficult for me to use. However, I would expect nothing less from Carlin. She is amazing person and I am so glad she found me! Carlin, if you are reading this, THANK YOU! Keep doing you, girl!
